A loose continuation of the figure line, 1:35 Ferdinand Crew - Part.2 extends the resin crew of the German tank destroyer with further figures.
Responsibility details are not available.
The line of figures that the Italian Royal Model casts in resin for 1:35 scale continues with further figures for the same vehicle. They will complete the machine in resting as well as working attitudes and combine well with the first part without the poses repeating.
After being committed at Kursk, the surviving machines went through a rebuild in the winter of 1943: they got a machine gun in the front armor, a commander's cupola and a protective coating against magnetic mines. Under the new name Elefant the unit then committed them in Italy, where the heavy vehicle was plagued by narrow roads and bridges with limited capacity. The crew consisted of six men, so there is plenty of room for figures around a model like that. It is precisely their presence that gives the viewer a scale and reveals what an enormous machine it was.
Before gluing, stand the figures on the model dry and check whether the shoulders and the legs sit into the places you have chosen. Fill small gaps with modeling putty. Resin dust is unpleasant, so sand damp and with a mask. Start the painting from the skin and work toward the equipment, so that the dark shades do not get onto the face. Uniforms from the Italian campaign will take faded tones; leave sharp contrasts only for the leather items.
The package consists of the castings alone; do not look in it for paints, glue or a model of the vehicle.
