About product

G7107 WWII Army Truck 1:35 (ICM)

This plastic kit from the Ukrainian manufacturer ICM represents the American G7107 army truck of the Second World War period. The model is made from new tools and offers several marking options. In the package you will find injection-molded plastic parts and decal markings.

The real subject

The G7107 was a type of all-wheel-drive truck built in the United States in large numbers. Vehicles of this type were delivered to the Allies under the Lend-Lease program and served widely with the Red Army and other units to carry troops and materiel. It was a reliable workhorse that proved itself on the Eastern Front and elsewhere.

Building and painting tips

Assemble the chassis, the engine and the running gear first, and only then close up the cab and the body. Use liquid modeling cement on the joints. The military finish comes out well with washes and pigments for mud and dust effects on the chassis and the fenders.

Who the model is for

  • Anyone interested in Allied Second World War vehicles
  • Builders of dioramas on supply and rear-area themes
  • Collectors of trucks in 1:35 scale
  • Modelers who enjoy weathering working vehicles

The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
