German infantry, Second World War is a 1:35 resin figure from the Italian manufacturer Royal Model. It will complete a kit of a vehicle as well as a scene on its own.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin figure of Second World War German infantry, designed as a universal accessory for armored vehicles in the most widespread military scale. Universality is an advantage here: a figure with no tie to a particular date or battlefield suits most scenes from France to Italy, which is not true of narrowly focused figures.
A tank has no size in itself. Only a figure beside the track shows how tall the hull is and how massive the wheel: without a human figure the viewer cannot judge the mass of a vehicle. German infantry, meanwhile, went through the whole war with almost no change to its basic outline: the field blouse, the helmet with its characteristic rim, the belt with pouches and the bread bag. The details shifted, the silhouette stayed, and that is why an infantryman like this is usable across periods.
Degrease the resin before building and cut the remains of the gates off with a sharp cutter; protect your breathing while sanding. Cyanoacrylate glue will secure the joint, and once it is dry it is a good idea to putty the seam over. Build the painting on a thin primer and then on three shades of field gray: the base, darkening into the folds, lightening of the edges. Keep the leather of the belt and the pouches in a different tone from the uniform, otherwise the whole figure will merge into one color.
The package contains the castings alone, not paints or glue.
