Plastic kit of the German staff car Kapitän two-door saloon in 1:35 scale from ICM.
Responsibility details are not available.
Injection-molded plastic kit of the German Kapitän staff car in the two-door saloon form of the Second World War period, in 1:35 scale from the Ukrainian manufacturer ICM. The model is meant to be glued and painted and contains decal markings for several options.
The Opel Kapitän was part of the prewar range of passenger cars and was built at the turn of the 1930s and 1940s. During the Second World War most of the cars were requisitioned for the needs of the army and the air force and were used to carry officers on the western and eastern fronts. Part of the production had a closed two-door saloon body, which is what this model captures.
On a passenger car, take care over the clean fit of the body and the careful cleaning up of the seams. Glue with liquid cement for plastic and fit the glazing only after the interior has been painted. Primer, a smooth base coat with an airbrush and restrained weathering matching field use are recommended. Apply the decals to a smooth gloss base.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
