An injection-molded plastic kit of the German light standard cross-country car in the Kfz.2 version in 1:35 scale from the manufacturer ICM. The model captures the wheeled signals (radio) variant with four doors and a canvas roof. The package contains injection-molded plastic and decals; paints, glue and accessories are not included.
The le.gl.Einheits-Pkw (leichter gelaendegaengiger Einheits-Personenkraftwagen) was a standardized light cross-country car of the German army, developed in the 1930s as a single type for the most varied tasks. The Kfz.2 version served as a light signals and radio communication vehicle. The all-wheel-drive car was rugged, but fairly heavy and complicated, which led to a later switch to simpler types.
Assemble and fine-tune the chassis and the interior before you close the body up. Glue the parts with thin plastic cement and apply a primer before painting. Spray the base shade with an airbrush and use a wash and light weathering to bring the details out; the canvas parts will take a dry brush to emphasize the texture.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
