Model T RNAS Armoured Car with a British tank crew 1:35 (ICM) is an injection-molded plastic kit of the armored car of the First World War completed with four figures.
Responsibility details are not available.
This plastic kit in 1:35 scale from ICM captures the light armored car built on the Ford Model T chassis as the armored units of the Royal Naval Air Service used it in the First World War. In the box you will find parts for building the vehicle and for four figures of a British tank crew, so a small genre scene comes out of the box.
Thanks to its light weight and availability the Ford Model T became the basis for a number of improvised armored cars. The RNAS version received an armored body and a Vickers machine gun and served as a light reconnaissance and support vehicle. Vehicles of this type operated, among other places, on the Caucasus and Romanian fronts in 1916, where they benefited from their low weight and decent mobility across country.
Cut the parts out with a sharp knife and glue the joints with thin cement for plastic. Before closing the body it is a good idea to spray a base coat of primer on the small internal parts and on the machine gun. Both the vehicle and the figures come into their own after a base shade laid on with an airbrush, lightening of the edges and a final patina of washes and pigments that emphasize the rivets and the mud.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
