A kit of the Soviet Moskvitch-401-420A passenger car in 1:35 scale from ICM. It is an injection-molded plastic model with a detailed engine, drivetrain and an elaborate interior. The model offers a choice of an open or closed convertible roof and a variant for stowing the spare wheel.
The Moskvitch-400 went into production at the Moscow plant after the Second World War and was based on the prewar Opel Kadett. The 401-420A version with an open convertible body was one of the less numerous configurations and was built at the turn of the 1940s and 1950s.
It pays to finish and paint the detailed engine and the interior before the body is closed up. Use thin cement on the joints. Spray the body with an airbrush and finish it with a gloss varnish; small chrome details will bring the look of the car to life.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
