Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the stately American automobile Packard Twelve of 1936 in 1:35 scale from the Ukrainian maker ICM. It is a luxury limousine which during the Second World War served as the official car of the highest Soviet leadership. Besides the detailed body and the clear parts of the glazing, the package also contains a set of figures of Soviet officials of the period, so the model will serve as the basis of a display-case scene as well.
In the 1930s the Packard Twelve belonged to the peaks of American car production. It was powered by a V12 engine of around 175 horsepower and was built in several wheelbase lengths with closed as well as open bodies. The Soviet Union bought several of these cars for the needs of state representation; they were valued for their quiet running, roomy interior and reliability over long distances.
Work with a thin cement for plastic and divide the build into subassemblies. Finish and paint the interior and the engine bay before you close the body up. The gloss black paint of a period limousine will stand out once a quality primer has been sprayed on and the color applied with an airbrush and then polished; the chrome strips can be managed with a metalizer or with bare-metal foil. The figures will come to life after the color transitions have been blended finely and the shadows discreetly picked out.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
