This set from Panzerkraft brings, in 1:35 scale, fine grab handles (Haltegriff) with a realistically rendered weld seam, of the kind fitted to the hulls and turrets of German Panzer IV tanks of the F to J versions. The parts are made as fine accessories for super-detailing and replace the coarser or missing handles of plastic kits. The quantity in the package is enough for 5 vehicles. It is not a kit but a detail accessory for a finished model.
The Panzer IV was the most numerous German medium tank of the Second World War, built in many versions (F to J) with progressively heavier armament and armor. The grab handles on the hull and the turret served the crew for mounting the vehicle and for handling, and they are a conspicuous detail that is often simplified on a model.
Separate the small parts carefully so that they are not damaged. Replace the molded plastic handles with them; use a small amount of super glue for gluing. Degrease the parts before painting; the weld seam comes out after a wash and a dry brush.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
