ICM 1:35 Pz.Kpfw. VI Ausf. B King Tiger is a plastic kit of the German heavy tank of the Second World War.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the German Panzerkampfwagen VI Ausf. B heavy tank, known as the King Tiger (Tiger II, Königstiger), in 1:35 scale from ICM. The model captures the massive hull, the turret and the running gear of this late-war tank and provides a basis for a detailed build.
The King Tiger was a German heavy tank deployed from 1944. It was marked by steeply sloped frontal armor and a long 88 mm gun, which was among the most effective tank weapons of its day. The combination of thick armor and a powerful gun made it a feared opponent; the trade-off was great weight, high fuel consumption and demanding maintenance.
We recommend assembling the running gear and taking care of the interior parts before the hull is closed up. Use thin cement for plastic and clean the small parts of flash. An airbrush and a primer suit the paintwork; typical is late-war camouflage in shades of dark yellow, green and brown. Washes, edge highlighting and pigments with mud and dust effects on the suspension will bring the surface to life.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
