Responsibility details are not available.
A plastic kit of the German Tiger II heavy tank, nicknamed Königstiger (King Tiger), in 1:35 scale from Revell. The model represents the variant with the so-called Henschel production turret. The box contains a well worked-out running gear with torsion bar suspension, a rotating turret with a gun that can be elevated, and hatches that can be shown open; the tracks are made as link-and-length vinyl. The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The Tiger II was the heaviest German tank put into series service in the Second World War. It combined heavy sloped armor with an exceptionally effective long-barreled 88 mm gun (KwK 43 L/71), which could knock out practically any Allied tank at long range. It was in action from 1944 on both the Western and the Eastern Front. The early series carried a turret with a rounded front (the so-called Porsche turret); the later and most widely built one was precisely the simplified Henschel production turret with a flat front.
First finish and paint the running gear and the lower hull, and only then close the hull up - many parts cannot be reached later. Fit the vinyl tracks after the running gear has been coated. A three-tone camouflage (dark yellow, green, brown) is typical of late war German vehicles; washes and pigments imitating mud and dust will bring the surface to life. Do not forget to clean up the sharp edges carefully and to bring out the welds.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
