ICM 1:35 Quietly came, quietly went... is a set of plastic figures of present-day soldiers in 1:35 scale. The figures are meant to be glued and painted.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set of injection-molded plastic figures from the Ukrainian maker ICM belongs to its present-day range, which captures soldiers in current field gear. The 1:35 scale is the most widespread scale for ground vehicles, so the figures can be combined with practically any tank, armored vehicle or off-road vehicle in this size. The name of the set refers to a quiet, unobtrusive advance - that is, to a scene that tells a story in a display case even without further accessories.
ICM is among the makers who do not treat figures as a second-rate accessory. The castings have clean mold seams, natural proportions and the gear is rendered as separate parts, so it can be arranged as the scene requires. Figures bring any diorama to life - it is the human figure that gives a vehicle model scale and meaning. The set belongs to the newer ICM numbered range devoted to present-day soldiers, and the maker also makes other sets with the same approach. Check the number of figures and their weapons against the illustration and the parts list on the box.
Clean the figures carefully of mold seams and sprue attachments, and take care with the faces and hands so the detail is not damaged. Apply a thin primer before painting, ideally with an airbrush. Build the uniforms from a darker base toward lighter layers, so a natural shadow appears in the folds. Paint the faces in several glazes over a flesh base and leave the eyes until last with a thin brush. Finish the gear and the weapons separately and fit them only once the figure is painted. Finally, even the model out with matte varnish.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
