The second part of the series, 1:35 Railway Accessories - Part. 2 from Royal Model, extends the track setting with further elements in resin and photo-etched brass sheet.
Responsibility details are not available.
This follow-up set completes the track setting with further elements in resin and photo-etched sheet. It does not rule out the first part of the series; on the contrary, together they make up a more rounded piece of line on which a considerably richer story can be played out.
A railway line is not just rails. Along it stand signals, telegraph wires, block posts, water cranes for steam locomotives, stacks of fuel and hundreds of small items of permanent-way housekeeping that give period photographs from the years 1939 to 1945 their characteristic look. It is these things that are most often missing on models: bare track looks like a toy, whereas a few well-placed details turn it at once into a piece of a particular place with an atmosphere of its own.
Small resin pieces are apt to get lost, so cut them off over a tray or over a surface with a rim. Leave the thin metal components until the very end, so that nothing knocks them off while the scene is being handled. Choose rather faded colors: railway equipment was maintained only as an emergency during the war, so peeling paint, rust and soot from chimneys suit it better than a fresh shade from the bottle.
The set comes without paints and without putty.
