A standalone figure of an armored vehicle crewman, conceived in a resting pose, that is out of combat. The 1:35 scale is stated in the product name and matches the most widespread size of military vehicle models.
A vehicle without people looks like an exhibit, not like a machine in service. A figure gives a scene scale and tells the viewer how big the vehicle really is. A resting pose is also easier to build than a combat one: you do not have to deal with movement or with a link to the armament, and you place the figure by the track, on a fender or in the shade beside the vehicle, wherever your composition lacks weight.
Cut the excess material off with a sharp blade a little way from the part and sand the rest carefully, so as not to wipe away the shape of the folds. Wash and degrease the figure before painting, otherwise paint will not hold on the surface. Choose the glue according to the material of the parts. Apply the paint in thin coats and start with the face, because that decides the whole impression. Pull the folds of the clothing out in a lighter tone of the base color and darken the recesses instead; contrast works better in this scale than literal coloring.
