ICM 1:35 Sankas WWII Wehrmacht Ambulance Trucks is a combined set of three injection-molded plastic kits of German ambulance trucks.
Responsibility details are not available.
This combined plastic set in 1:35 scale from ICM contains three kits of German ambulance trucks from the Second World War. It brings several different chassis types in ambulance configuration together in one box and is ideal for building a rear-area medical scene.
Medical support for the Wehrmacht was provided by the army medical corps, and a range of different vehicles carried the wounded. The nickname Sanka (short for the German term for an ambulance) caught on in soldiers' slang for ambulance trucks. They were created by converting ordinary cargo chassis to a closed medical body.
Because there are three models, plan the build vehicle by vehicle. Finish and paint the interiors and the medical bodies before you close up the bodywork. Use thin plastic cement on the joints, shade the whole model with an airbrush and add washes and pigments. The medical markings will stand out if you lay down a gloss coat before applying the decals.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
