This injection-molded plastic kit captures the command version of the German Sd.Kfz.251 half-track armored personnel carrier in the early Ausf.A form. The set from the Ukrainian manufacturer ICM is in 1:35 scale and covers the 251/6 variant equipped with radio sets. The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The Sd.Kfz.251 was the standard German half-track carrier of the Second World War, built in many specialized versions. The 251/6 configuration served as a command vehicle for higher headquarters, fitted with extended communications equipment and characteristic antennas. The early Ausf.A version had a more angular hull shape.
First finish the interior and the running gear, and only then close up the hull. The tracks and the wheels call for careful fitting. Dark washes and mud and dust pigments suit the weathering. We recommend a primer and an airbrush.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
