The package contains seven figures of the artillery crew of the Soviet B-4 howitzer of the Second World War period, complemented by optional parts that allow different poses. The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted as injection-molded parts on sprues.
The Soviet B-4 howitzer of 203 mm caliber (model 1931) was a massive heavy weapon on a tracked carriage, used for destroying fortifications and for artillery support. The figures capture the crew in action, that is, loading and serving the weapon, in the period uniforms of Red Army artillery. The set complements a model of the howitzer itself and artillery dioramas well.
Cut the parts from the sprues and clean up the parting lines. Glue with thin cement for plastic and apply a base color before painting. Khaki and olive tones suit the uniforms, and for weathering use a dark wash and dry-brushing to bring out the folds. The optional parts let you adapt the poses to the scene.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
