A resin detail set in 1:35 scale from the manufacturer ELEFANT. It contains antenna bases for Soviet tanks of the Cold War period in three variants, six pieces of each, 18 parts in total. It is NOT a model of a vehicle; these are small accessories with which you refine the turret or the hull of a model and get a faithful antenna mounting.
Antenna bases are a conspicuous but often simplified detail on tank models. Resin castings offer a sharper shape of both the insulator and the foot than injection-molded plastic, and thanks to the three variants they cover various types of Soviet armored vehicles. The larger number of pieces in the package will be appreciated when building several models or a whole diorama with a column of vehicles.
Wash the mold release agent off the small parts, separate the casting blocks carefully and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue); work with tweezers. Prime the bases in the shade of the vehicle, the insulators can be picked out in a darker tone and the whole tied together with a fine wash and dust pigments.
It is supplied as a resin accessory, unassembled and unpainted. The model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
