Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the German Typ 2,5-32 ambulance with a shelter body in 1:35 scale from ICM. The package contains plastic parts, rubber tires, clear parts and a decal sheet. The model captures a light truck with an enclosed box body, adapted for ambulance service.
The Typ 2,5-32 was a light truck of around 1.5 ton payload, built from the end of the 1930s at the works in Brandenburg and powered by a six-cylinder engine. Trucks of this type were used by all branches of the Wehrmacht on the Eastern Front, in Italy and in France; some of them carried an enclosed box body and served as ambulances for transporting the wounded.
ICM offers a detailed chassis, engine and cab interior, so assemble and paint the engine bay and the cab area before you close the body up. For painting use period German shades, for example dark gray or dunkelgelb according to the period; pick out the panel lines with a wash, add red cross markings from the decals to the ambulance box and weather the running gear with dust pigments.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
