An injection-molded plastic kit of the Soviet ZiL-131 KShM command and staff vehicle in 1:35 scale from the Ukrainian manufacturer ICM. The model represents the three-axle ZiL-131 off-road truck with a closed box body of the KShM type, which served as a mobile command and signals post.
The ZiL-131 was the standard Soviet off-road truck with 6x6 drive, built from the 1960s, which became one of the most widespread vehicles of the armies of the Eastern bloc. It stood out for its reliability and its ability to cross difficult ground. The KShM version (the command and staff vehicle) carried a box body equipped with radio sets and workstations for the staff, thanks to which it provided communications and the control of units directly in the field.
Work with liquid cement for plastic and proceed in subassemblies. Finish and paint the engine, the chassis and the interior of the box before you close the whole thing up. Apply a primer before painting and lay the paints on with an airbrush. With single-color green schemes you will appreciate highlighting the panel lines, a discreet lightening of the surfaces and dust pigments on the chassis and the fenders.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
