Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the Soviet off-road truck ZIL-131 in 1:35 scale from the Ukrainian manufacturer ICM. Besides the vehicle itself, the package contains a driver figure, so the model can be brought to life with a human scale and easily set into a scene. The kit builds on a finely worked tooling with a detailed chassis, axles, engine and cab with interior, and it offers several marking options.
The ZIL-131 is a Soviet 6x6 truck with a payload of around 3.5 tons that served from the 1960s as a universal army vehicle — it carried troops and cargo and formed the chassis for workshops, signals vehicles and equipment carriers. Thanks to its all-wheel drive and its simple, tough construction it spread to many armed forces and, in various forms, it can still be met today, among others with the armed forces of Ukraine.
Assemble and paint the chassis, the axles and the engine before closing the load bed and the cab. Paint the vehicle with an airbrush over a primer; bring the single-color army scheme to life by shading the surfaces, with a fine wash into the pressings and with dust and mud pigments on the running gear. Paint the driver figure separately and fit it into the cab at the end.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
