The box contains six miniature injection-molded models of the Curtiss SB2C Helldiver carrier dive bomber in 1:350 scale. These are tiny accessory aircraft meant for populating the decks of aircraft carrier models in the same scale, not a large stand-alone model. Clear canopies are included.
The Curtiss SB2C Helldiver was an American carrier-based dive bomber deployed in the final phase of the Second World War in the Pacific. It replaced older types of dive bomber and carried its bombs in a fuselage bomb bay. It was notable for its large two-seat fuselage and its sizable vertical tail surface.
The parts are tiny; separate them with a sharp knife and glue them with liquid cement for plastic in small doses. Painting with an airbrush before final assembly is the easiest way; the dark blue naval finish was typical.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
