This is NOT one large model of an aircraft but a plastic set containing several identical miniature aircraft in the small 1:350 scale. The set is intended above all to fill the decks and hangars of models of amphibious and assault ships in the same scale. The package contains plastic parts including clear ones, and decals. The parts are very small and fine.
The AV-8B Harrier II is a V/STOL attack aircraft used by the US Marine Corps. It is precisely the ability to operate from the short decks of amphibious ships and from improvised strips that makes it the typical aircraft for the decks of assault vessels, for models of which this set is intended.
Given the miniature size, work with a magnifier, a sharp knife and tweezers. The clear parts tend to be fragile, so separate them carefully. The aircraft are easiest to paint with an airbrush while still on the sprue, and only then to finish. For the arrangement on a deck, choose a uniform heading, or some machines with their surfaces folded.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the ship model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
