A precisely turned metal replacement barrel for the 7.5 cm KwK 42 L/70 gun with a muzzle brake in 1:48 scale. It replaces the plastic barrel from a kit of the Panther medium tank (Sd.Kfz.171, the Ausf. A, D and G versions) and brings a perfectly circular cross section, a sharp muzzle and fine details that are hard to achieve with split plastic barrels.
This is a detail accessory, not a model of the vehicle. A metal gun barrel raises the realism of the main armament and, thanks to its weight, helps to balance the turret as well.
Clean the barrel up and degrease it. Before painting, treat the metal with a primer for good adhesion; only then apply the color of the vehicle. Any photo-etched or additional parts of the muzzle brake should be bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate).
The part is an accessory for a plastic model. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
