Bristol Beaufort Mk.IA in 1:48 scale from manufacturer ICM — a plastic kit of the British twin-engine torpedo bomber of the Second World War.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the British torpedo bomber Bristol Beaufort in the Mk.IA version, in 1:48 scale from manufacturer ICM. The model depicts the later variant with a modified dorsal gun turret and offers finely engraved surface detail and a detailed interior.
The Beaufort was a four-seat, twin-engine, all-metal mid-wing aircraft that RAF Coastal Command put into service from 1940. It was used for laying naval mines, day and night torpedo attacks, and bombing coastal targets. Its defensive armament consisted of a dorsal turret with machine guns and other flexible machine gun positions.
Use thin liquid cement for plastic and finish and paint the cockpit interior before closing the fuselage. We recommend a primer coat, airbrush spraying, and highlighting the panels with a wash. Mask the clear parts while spraying the camouflage.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints, and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
