Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the twin-engined torpedo bomber Bristol Beaufort in its Mk.IA version in 1:48 scale from the Ukrainian maker ICM. It is a modern mold with fine engraved surfaces and a well worked-out interior. The Mk.IA variant captures the machine with the new dorsal gun turret and with the tropical intake filter used in hot theaters.
The Bristol Beaufort was a British twin-engined torpedo and bomber aircraft that served from the late 1930s above all with RAF Coastal Command. It was used against shipping in the waters around Britain and in the Mediterranean; the tropical filter protected the engines from dust and sand in a hot climate. The Mk.IA version was marked out by revised defensive armament.
Assemble and paint the interior of the pilot's and gunner's positions before closing the fuselage. Use thin cement for plastic, sand the joints down and lay gloss varnish before the decals. Airbrushed camouflage and light weathering of the panels will bring out the character of a Coastal Command machine.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
