Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the light CF-5A Freedom Fighter supersonic fighter in 1:48 scale by Kinetic. It is the Canadian license version of the American Northrop F-5, built by Canadair. The package holds plastic sprues, clear glazing parts and decals; the kit allows the characteristic auxiliary air intakes of the CF-5 to be built open or closed.
The Northrop F-5 was a simple, light and inexpensive twin-engine supersonic fighter, popular with a number of allied countries. Canada built the type under license as the CF-5 (officially the CF-116) for the Canadian Armed Forces. The machines served for training, tactical support and reconnaissance; Canada operated them from the late 1960s until the mid-1990s.
Finish and paint the cockpit before closing the fuselage. Mask the small rounded canopy. Decide whether you will build the auxiliary air intakes open or closed. Spray the large areas with an airbrush and apply a gloss coat under the decals. Fit the drop tanks and the weapons last.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
