The EMB-312 Tucano is a single-engine turboprop trainer with tandem cockpits, developed by the Brazilian company Embraer. It first flew at the start of the 1980s and quickly established itself as a modern basic and advanced trainer with the option of light combat armament. Thanks to its powerful turboprop powerplant and good handling a number of air forces around the world bought it; in Great Britain it served as the basis for a license-built version.
First finish and spray the cockpit with its ejection seats, and only then close the fuselage up. Glue it with a thin plastic cement, sand the joints and spray the surface over primer first. The striking overall and camouflage finishes of the Tucano come out well with an airbrush; spray gloss varnish under the decals against silvering and finally unify the surface with a matte overcoat.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
