A 3D-printed resin detail part in 1:48 scale from Clear Prop Models that faithfully reproduces the end face, the rear face, of the exhaust nozzle of the F-86A Sabre fighter. It is not a model of the aircraft but an accessory that improves the realistic look of the model's tail where the plastic part is simplified.
A finely detailed end surface of the nozzle with a faithful texture, which 3D printing manages with a crispness injection-molded plastic cannot reach. It fits into the rear fuselage in place of, or over, the original plastic part.
First wash the print resin residue off the resin part and cut it away from the print supports. Glue it with cyanoacrylate, and sand it with respiratory protection. Lay down a primer before painting; build the metal shades of the nozzle with metallic paints and the heat staining with delicate washes.
This is an accessory for a model, not a kit. The base model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
