An injection-molded plastic kit of the American Corsair carrier fighter in 1:48 scale from Hobby Boss. The set, in a 2 in 1 form, allows you to build the F4U-1A version and the night-fighting F4U-2. It offers a detailed fuselage and wing, a carefully worked engine and thoroughly detailed landing gear bays.
The Vought F4U Corsair was an American carrier fighter of the Second World War, easily recognized by its cranked wing in the shape of an inverted W. The F4U-1A version was one of the main day variants, while the F4U-2 was the night fighter conversion fitted with radar. The Corsair was among the most successful fighters of its period.
Before the build, decide on the F4U-1A or the F4U-2, because they differ in their equipment. Mask the glazing before spraying and paint the engine and the bays separately. Lay the base on with an airbrush and fix the decals with a decal softener.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
