This resin set from Royal Model contains German 200-liter fuel drums from the period of the Second World War in 1:48 scale. It is a cargo and scenic accessory for vehicles, dioramas and supply scenes, not a kit. The castings of quality polyurethane resin capture the pressed hoops, the closures and the seams of the drums.
The drums are placed on the load areas of vehicles, in fuel stores and beside figure scenes. They break up the empty surfaces of equipment and offer rewarding scope for rust, chipping and lettering.
Wash the parts clean of mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue. Apply a primer before painting; build the sheet metal up in shades of gray, olive or rust-eaten color, and add washes and pigments for wear at the end. Do the sanding with respiratory protection.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and other material are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
