Responsibility details are not available.
This set of plastic figures in 1:48 scale contains five figures of American airmen and ground personnel from the period of the Vietnam War. In the package you will find flight and technical personnel in period coveralls and equipment. The figures are intended to complete models of American aircraft and to create a Vietnamese airfield scene. It is a set from the Ukrainian manufacturer ICM.
During the Vietnam War a whole team looked after the combat aircraft: pilots in flight gear, technicians and the ground personnel servicing the machines at the bases. It is these figures that give aircraft models and dioramas their sense of scale, their story and their human dimension.
Assemble the figures and clean up the mold parting lines, after which it is best to paint them separately from the base. Underpainting, a main tone and then accenting the folds of the clothing with a dry brush or by glazing work well. Faces and equipment call for a fine brush and patience. Choose the shades according to period photographs of American personnel.
The set of figures is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
