ICM 1:48 British aircraft armament of the Second World War is a plastic set of aerial bombs, a mine and a torpedo for completing models of British aircraft.
Responsibility details are not available.
This injection-molded plastic set in 1:48 scale from ICM is not an airplane model but a collection of aircraft armament intended to complete and enliven models of British aircraft of the Second World War. It contains a set of aerial bombs of various calibers, bomb racks, an aerial mine and a torpedo with its trolley. Decals with the markings of the individual bomb types are enclosed as well.
British bomber and torpedo aircraft of the Second World War carried a wide range of external ordnance. This set makes it possible to arm a model realistically, to fill the bomb bay or the underwing pylons and to build the aircraft in combat configuration, or to create a scene with the ordnance ready for loading on the airfield. The parts will be appreciated by anyone who wants to give a British aircraft an authentic combat character.
Clean the parts of flash and glue them with thin modeling cement. Apply a primer before painting; British aerial ordnance carried various color markings according to type and purpose, and the enclosed decals bring them out well. Fine washes help to pull out the detail of the fins and the suspension lugs.
This is a supplementary armament set, not an airplane model. Paints, glue and the aircraft itself are not included in the package.
