This is a miniature kit of a set of aircraft in 1:700 scale intended to complete models of ships. In the package you will find several examples of the aircraft cast in clear plastic, with which you fill the catapults and decks of heavy cruisers and battleships.
The Arado Ar 196 was a German shipboard reconnaissance floatplane, which during the Second World War was catapulted from the surface vessels of the Kriegsmarine. It served for reconnaissance, patrol and liaison and became the typical shipboard aircraft of the large German warships.
Given the scale the parts are tiny and call for careful handling. A casting in clear plastic makes it easier to pick out the cockpit. Once glued, spray the aircraft in matching shades and add the national markings for a faithful look.
This is a set of shipboard aircraft to complete a model of a ship. Paints, glue and the model of the vessel itself are not included in the package.
