A plastic kit of the LTV A-7D Corsair II in 1:72 scale from Hobby Boss. A model of the American attack aircraft in the version for the USAF.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the American attack aircraft A-7D Corsair II in 1:72 scale from Hobby Boss. It is a detailed model with richly broken-down parts, finely engraved panel lines, a cockpit, a clear canopy and underwing armament. Check the exact package contents and the number of parts against the enclosed instructions.
The LTV A-7 Corsair II was an American single-seat subsonic attack aircraft derived from the F-8 Crusader fighter. The A-7D version was intended for the US Air Force (USAF) and it differed from the naval versions in its more powerful turbofan engine and its rotary cannon. The Corsair II was able to carry a large quantity of bombs and rockets over short and medium range with high accuracy. The A-7D version made its mark markedly during the war in Vietnam and later with Air National Guard units.
Glue the parts with thin modeling cement for plastic, and the fine and clear parts rather with cyanoacrylate glue. Paint the cockpit and the instrument panel and add the details before closing the fuselage; the clear canopy can be protected with a mask during spraying. Fit the underwing bombs, rockets and tanks only after the airframe has been painted. We recommend a base (primer), painting with an airbrush and picking out the panel lines with a fine wash.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
