The painting mask for the A5M Claude (late version) 1:72 from Clear Prop Models. Precisely cut masks from yellow kabuki paper for the glazing and the wheel discs of the Japanese carrier fighter.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of precisely cut masking templates from yellow kabuki paper (washi) intended for spraying the glazing and the wheels of a model of the Mitsubishi A5M Claude in 1:72 scale. It is not a kit nor parts of a model, but an aid that fundamentally speeds painting up and raises its quality. The templates are shaped to fit a particular kit of this late version, so that the canopy frames and the outlines of the wheels sit exactly on the plastic parts.
The Mitsubishi A5M was the first Japanese monoplane carrier fighter, introduced in the mid-1930s. It had fixed, aerodynamically faired landing gear, a radial engine and a cockpit that was open or covered by only a small windscreen. The late configuration served at the start of the fighting in China and at the opening of the Pacific war and was the predecessor of the famous Zero.
The mask is an aid for spraying. The paints, the glue and the kit are not included in the package.
