The Roden Albatros D.III Oeffag s.153 (late) plastic kit in 1:72 scale represents the late production series of the Austro-Hungarian license version of the Albatros fighter.

This injection-molded plastic kit from the Ukrainian company Roden captures the late series 153 of the Austro-Hungarian license version of the Albatros D.III made by Oeffag, in 1:72 scale. The set is meant to be glued together and painted and it contains decals for color schemes of the period.
Series 153 from Oeffag used an Austro-Daimler engine of about 200 horsepower. The late machines of this series received a rounded nose in place of the propeller spinner, which improved the aerodynamics and slightly raised the maximum speed. These aircraft were among the best Austro-Hungarian fighters.
Separate the parts with a sharp knife, clean them up and glue them with thin cement for plastic. We recommend primer and an airbrush. For the correct look of the late version, take care over the rounded shape of the nose without a spinner and over careful rigging.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
