Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the Soviet ATZ-4-131 fuel bowser in 1:72 scale from the Ukrainian manufacturer ICM. The vehicle combines a tanker body with the chassis of the ZiL-131 off-road truck (6x6). The kit has a detailed chassis with its running gear, a one-piece cab with a basic interior and a tank with the pumping equipment. The exact contents of the box and the number of marking options are not stated here.
The ATZ-4-131 was a Soviet mobile refueling station used to fuel aircraft and ground vehicles at airfields and in the field. The designation comes from the capacity of the tank and the type of chassis: a tanker mounted on the widespread ZiL-131 off-road truck. Vehicles of this kind were an essential part of rear-area support and accompanied the air and ground units of the Soviet Army and of allied armies.
Assemble and paint the chassis, the axles and the running gear first, and attach the tanker body afterwards. Glue the parts with thin modeling cement for plastic. Apply a primer and the paints with an airbrush; the shell of the tank comes to life once the seams are brought out with a wash, and it can be enlivened with period weathering and with dust and fuel effects applied with pigments.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
