The BAe Hawk is a British jet trainer that has also proved itself in the light combat role with a number of air forces around the world. It is best known, however, in the hands of the Red Arrows, the official aerobatic team of the Royal Air Force. Its pilots fly formations at air shows in strikingly red aircraft set off by colored smoke trails, and it is among the most admired display teams in the world.
The striking red scheme stands out if you apply the paint in even thin coats on a smoothly leveled surface. Paint the cockpit and the ejection seat before you close the fuselage up. Apply the decals onto well-dried paint, ideally onto a slightly glossy surface, so that they settle without visible edges.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The paints, the brush and the glue are part of this starter set.
