Responsibility details are not available.
This plastic figure set from Italeri in 1:72 scale presents the British and Prussian allied general staff of the Napoleonic Wars of the years 1805 to 1815. The set combines mounted and dismounted figures of officers and commanders with horses, so it makes it possible to build a command post or a staff scene for a battle diorama. It is a plastic kit meant to be assembled and painted.
During the Napoleonic Wars Britain and Prussia stood at the head of the coalitions against imperial France; their alliance culminated at Waterloo in 1815. The general staff consisted of senior officers, aides and liaison riders in splendid uniforms who directed the movement of troops from command posts. The set captures exactly this command layer of both armies.
Cut the small parts off carefully and clean up the parting lines; glue with thin cement for plastic. The colorful uniforms with facings, braid and epaulettes call for precision, so a primer and painting with a fine brush using glazes and a gentle wash pay off. Paint the horses in variations of brown tones and complete them with harness and shabracks.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
