Responsibility details are not available.
Injection-molded plastic kit of the Soviet BTR-60P armored personnel carrier in 1:72 scale from the Ukrainian maker ICM. This is the early version with an open fighting compartment. The kit captures the characteristic low boat-shaped armored hull on eight wheels, with armor panels and external equipment. The exact contents of the package and the number of marking options are not stated here.
The BTR-60 was a Soviet amphibious wheeled armored personnel carrier with all-wheel drive (8x8), introduced from the end of the 1950s as the standard carrier of the motor rifle units. The BTR-60P version was the first production variant and was marked out by an open fighting compartment with no armored roof. The vehicle swam with the help of a water jet, which let it cross water obstacles, and it became the basis of the whole extensive BTR-60 family.
Start by assembling and painting the running gear and all the wheels, then put the armored hull together; the open fighting compartment lets you see inside, so paint the interior before you close it up. Glue the parts with thin modeling cement for plastic. Lay down a primer and the colors with an airbrush; the busy hull comes alive once the edges are picked out and a wash and dust and mud pigments are added to the lower part.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
