An injection-molded plastic kit of the modern single-seat multirole fighter Eurofighter Typhoon in the basic combat version EF-2000, in 1:72 scale from Hobby Boss. The model has engraved panel lines, a one-piece fuselage and wings, a basic cockpit with a clear canopy and underwing pylons. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted, with a decal sheet and instructions.
The Eurofighter Typhoon is a twin-engined European multirole fighter able to carry out tasks in air combat as well as against ground targets. It is marked by the layout of a tailless delta wing with canard foreplanes, by high agility and by the ability to fly supersonically. The single-seat combat version serves with a number of European air forces as their principal fighter. This kit captures the single-seat configuration; the two-seat trainer version EF-2000B is a separate kit.
Separate the parts from the sprues, clean them up and glue them with thin cement for plastic. Apply a base primer; modern fighters come out well in shades of aviation gray applied with an airbrush. Pick out the engraved panel lines with a thin wash and grade the individual shades of gray subtly. Unify the result with a semi-matte varnish.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
