A set of unpainted plastic figures in 1:72 scale from the Italian manufacturer Italeri. The package contains riders on horses in several poses. The figures are meant to be separated from the sprue, assembled and painted.
Heavy cavalry was one of the striking arms of the French army during the Napoleonic Wars. Carabiniers and cuirassiers were distinguished by tall stature and polished cuirasses and were used as a mounted reserve in decisive charges, for example at Borodino and Waterloo. The set captures riders of this type of heavy cavalry.
Carefully separate the figures from the sprue and clean up the parting lines. Cement for plastic suits the gluing, and at the rider-to-horse joints cyanoacrylate helps. Apply a primer before painting; bring out the metal cuirasses and helmets with metallic paint and even the polished surfaces out with a light wash.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
