Responsibility details are not available.
This product is not a model but a turned metal replacement barrel for the German 15 cm sIG 33 heavy infantry gun. It replaces the plastic barrel from the kit with a faithfully shaped metal part with a drilled muzzle and accurate geometry. Intended for models of the sIG 33 gun and of the vehicles that carried it, in 1:72 scale. Aber is a Polish manufacturer of turned barrels and photo-etched accessories.
The 15 cm sIG 33 gun was the heaviest infantry gun of the German army of the Second World War. With its caliber of 150 mm it gave the infantry powerful direct and indirect fire support and was fielded both in the towed form and on a number of self-propelled chassis. A short, thick barrel of large caliber is characteristic of the gun.
Cut the plastic barrel off and clean it up, then glue the metal one on with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). The metal part guarantees an accurate circular muzzle and a robust shape for the barrel. Degrease it before painting and apply a primer for metal.
This is a metal accessory, not a stand-alone model. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
