An injection molded plastic kit of the modern main battle tank Leopard 2A6 in Ukrainian service, in 1:72 scale from the Ukrainian maker ICM. The model captures a machine fitted with additional anti-HEAT grilles and screens. A photo-etched fret and a decal sheet with several marking options of Ukrainian tanks are included in the package.
The Leopard 2A6 is a German tank marked by a long 120 mm smoothbore barrel, a modern fire control system and strong armor. Since the summer of 2023 these tanks have served with the armed forces of Ukraine and have taken an active part in the fighting in the east and northeast of the country, often together with improvised protection against drones and shaped-charge munitions.
Glue the plastic with thin cement for plastic and the fine photo-etch with super glue. Finish the running gear and the details of the hull before closing it up. For a faithful look, apply a primer, the standard three-tone camouflage scheme with an airbrush, and add washes and pigments for mud and dust effects.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
