An injection-molded plastic kit of the M1A1 Abrams main battle tank complemented by a mine roller carried on the front of the vehicle. The set contains parts in gray plastic and flexible tracks; the model is built and painted.
The mine roller was mounted on the front of the Abrams tank to set off anti-tank mines mechanically and to create a safe lane. The US Army deployed this combination on a large scale during the operation in the Persian Gulf as part of the mine countermeasures equipment of its armored units.
First assemble the tank itself and the running gear, and only then fit the mine roller. Use liquid modeling cement on the plastic, spray a primer and apply a desert shade with an airbrush. The roller and the running gear come alive with dust pigments and a fine wash.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
