Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit in 1:35 scale from Trumpeter. It captures the Soviet Mil Mi-24 attack and transport helicopter in the Mi-24V version, which NATO designated by the reporting name Hind-E. The large 1:35 scale means a substantial, impressive model with extensively glazed cockpits and an intricate surface. The box holds clear parts for the glazing of the pilot's and the gunner's stations and decals for several marking options.
The Mil Mi-24 is a heavy attack helicopter that, as one of very few, combines the firepower of an attack machine with the ability to carry a squad of troops to be landed in the rear cabin. Characteristic features are the stepped, separately glazed cockpits of the pilot and the gunner, short wings with pylons for armament and retractable landing gear. The Mi-24V version is one of the most widely used forms and carries anti-tank guided missiles and trainable machine gun armament. The machines have been used in a number of conflicts and serve in many countries to this day.
Glue the parts with liquid modeling cement for plastic and sand the joints of the fuselage and the engine covers carefully. Mask the extensive cockpit glazing with templates and attach the clear parts only after the frames have been painted. Apply a primer before painting; lay the typical multicolor Soviet camouflage on with an airbrush with fine shading of the panels. We recommend painting the rotor blades and the landing gear separately. Light weathering, oil washes and traces of service wear bring the model to life.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
