A resin wheel set in 1:72 scale meant to replace the plastic wheels on a model of the Soviet supersonic interceptor MiG-19P and MiG-19PM. The castings faithfully capture the tire tread, the hub detail and a realistic flat spot where the wheel meets the ground. The result looks more convincing than the standard plastic parts.
The MiG-19 was the first Soviet production fighter able to exceed the speed of sound in level flight. The P and PM variants were all-weather interceptors fitted with radar; the PM version carried guided missiles instead of cannon.
This is a separate resin accessory, not a kit. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
