A sheet of waterslide decals in 1:72 scale by Clear Prop. It is not a kit but a standalone set of markings intended to bring a model of the American Grumman OV-1 Mohawk observation aircraft in the OV-1A and JOV-1A versions to life. The decals add national insignia, codes and technical stencils.
The Grumman OV-1 Mohawk was a twin-engine turboprop observation and reconnaissance aircraft with a characteristic glazed cockpit and a triple fin. It was operated above all by US Army ground reconnaissance; the JOV-1A version was also adapted for armed duties.
First varnish the model with a gloss varnish, cut the decal out and, once soaked, slide it onto the surface. Fine-tune the seating with a decal softener so that it clings to the rivets and panel lines, and finally coat it with a matte or semi-gloss varnish according to the look you want.
This is a standalone sheet of decals. The aircraft model, the paints and the varnish are not included in the package.
