An injection-molded plastic kit of the French multirole fighter Dassault Rafale B in 1:72 scale from Hobby Boss. The B version is a two-seater (two seats one behind the other) – that is how it differs from the single-seat C version. The kit has engraved panel lines, a cockpit and clear canopy parts. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The Dassault Rafale is a French twin-engine multirole fighter with a delta wing and forward horizontal surfaces (canards). It handles air combat, attacks on ground and naval targets and reconnaissance. The two-seat Rafale B serves with the French Air Force; the second crew member takes some of the load off the pilot on demanding strike missions. The real subject is marked by high agility, modern avionics and a wide range of carried armament.
Finish the two-seat cockpit before you close the fuselage. Fill and sand the fuselage and intake joints carefully for a clean profile. Base coat over a primer; the characteristic French two-tone gray camouflage comes out with a subtle difference of shades and restrained panel shading. Bring out the engraved lines with a thin wash that runs into the grooves by capillary action. Fit the armament, pylons and drop tanks at the very end so that they do not get in the way during painting.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
